The school council is run by parent volunteers with school staff and community representatives. We act as an advisory body for the school principal. Our focus is to improve our students' education and keep the school and board accountable.
We support the staff by raising funds through the hot lunch program, special events and other endeavors. The funds go back to the students in the classroom, workshops and field trips. We also contribute to the school maintenance and enhancements. Through communications and engagement, the school council is an important link for the parents and school community.
